Baked chicken wings

Posted on November 11, 2025 by Admin

Absolutely! Baked Chicken Wings are crispy, flavorful, and way easier than deep-frying — perfect for a snack, appetizer, or main dish. 🍗✨

🍗 Crispy Baked Chicken Wings

🧺 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (split into flats and drumettes)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (smoked paprika works great)
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper for heat

For tossing after baking (optional):

  • ½ cup Buffalo sauce, BBQ sauce, or honey garlic sauce

🔪 Instructions

1. Preheat oven

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top (this lets wings crisp evenly).

2. Prepare wings

  • Pat wings dry with paper towels — this helps them get crispy.
  • Toss wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne (if using).

3. Bake

  • Arrange wings in a single layer on the rack.
  • Bake 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

4. Toss in sauce (optional)

  • If you like saucy wings, toss baked wings in your favorite sauce immediately after baking.

5. Serve

  • Serve hot with celery sticks, carrot sticks, and ranch or blue cheese dressing.

🌟 Tips & Variations

  • Extra crispy: Sprinkle wings with 1 teaspoon baking powder (aluminum-free) before baking — it helps crisp the skin.
  • Flavor twists: Try lemon pepper, Cajun seasoning, teriyaki, or honey mustard.
  • Make-ahead: Wings can be seasoned and refrigerated for a few hours before baking to deepen flavor.
  • Air fryer option: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway for quick crispiness.

I can also give you a sticky honey-garlic baked wings version that’s sweet, garlicky, and finger-licking good. Do you want that?
