Apple Pie Moonshine Gummies

Posted on October 28, 2025 by Admin
Oh yes—Apple Pie Moonshine Gummies are a fun, boozy twist on candy! Here’s a simple way to make them. This recipe uses gelatin-free or regular gelatin based on preference. I’ll give the classic version with gelatin for the chewy texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup apple juice (or apple cider for more flavor)

  • ½ cup sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin (or agar-agar for vegan option)

  • ¼ cup apple pie moonshine (or apple-flavored whiskey)

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, for extra apple pie flavor)

  • Cooking spray or oil (for greasing molds)

Instructions

  1. Prepare molds:

    • Lightly grease silicone molds or a small baking dish with cooking spray.

  2. Bloom the gelatin:

    • In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over ¼ cup of apple juice and let it sit for 2–3 minutes.

  3. Heat the juice mixture:

    • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the remaining apple juice, sugar, and cinnamon.

    • Stir until sugar dissolves and the mixture is warm, but do not boil.

  4. Add gelatin:

    • Stir the bloomed gelatin into the warm juice until completely dissolved.

  5. Add moonshine:

    • Remove from heat and mix in the apple pie moonshine.

  6. Pour into molds:

    • Carefully pour mixture into prepared molds.

    • Refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours until fully set.

  7. Remove and serve:

    • Pop gummies out of molds and enjoy! Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Tips

  • Use silicone molds for easy removal.

  • Adjust alcohol: more moonshine = stronger gummies, but it can affect setting.

  • Sprinkle a tiny bit of sugar or cinnamon sugar on top to prevent sticking.

If you want, I can also give a quick no-gelatin version that uses pectin or cornstarch to make boozy apple pie gummies—still chewy and fun!

Do you want the gelatin-free version?
