Brownies

- 1 cup peeled and finely chopped apples (about 1 medium apple)

Maple Glaze
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1β2 tsp milk or cream (to thin)
Instructions
- Preheat oven
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
- Grease or line a 9Γ9-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Make brownie batter
- In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon (if using).
- Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
- Gently fold in chopped apples.
- Bake
- Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
