Quick, crispy, and perfect for snacking—here’s how to make Air Fryer Nachos 🌮🧀


Air Fryer Nachos

Ingredients (serves 2–3)

  • Tortilla chips (sturdy ones work best)
  • 1–1½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, Mexican blend)
  • ½ cup cooked ground beef, chicken, or shredded rotisserie chicken
    (optional – season with taco seasoning)
  • ¼ cup black beans (rinsed & drained)
  • ¼ cup corn
  • ¼ cup sliced jalapeños
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • ¼ cup diced tomatoes

Toppings after cooking

  • Sour cream
  • Guacamole or avocado slices
  • Salsa or pico de gallo
  • Chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Layer carefully
    • Add a single layer of tortilla chips to the air fryer basket.
    • Sprinkle cheese evenly.
    • Add meat, beans, corn, jalapeños, and onions.
    • Add a little more cheese on top (helps everything stick).
  3. Air fry
    • Cook for 3–5 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
    • Watch closely—chips can burn fast.
  4. Finish & serve
    • Remove carefully.
    • Add sour cream, guacamole, salsa, tomatoes, and cilantro.

Pro Tips

  • Don’t overcrowd—make in batches for best results.
  • Use parchment liner with holes or foil with holes poked in it.
  • For extra crispy chips, air fry chips alone for 1 minute before topping.

  • BBQ Chicken Nachos – BBQ sauce + chicken + red onion
  • Buffalo Nachos – buffalo sauce + chicken + ranch drizzle
  • Dessert Nachos – cinnamon sugar chips + chocolate + strawberries
