Here’s a simple and delicious Honeycrisp Apple Salad recipe that balances sweet, crisp apples with fresh greens and a tangy dressing. I can give you a classic version and also some optional twists.


Ingredients (Serves 4)

For the Salad:

  • 2 Honeycrisp apples, cored and thinly sliced

  2. Make the dressing: Whisk together olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Adjust sweetness or tang to taste.
  3. Prepare the salad: In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, sliced Honeycrisp apples, dried cranberries, and cooled nuts.
  4. Add cheese: Sprinkle crumbled feta or goat cheese on top.
  5. Dress the salad: Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat. Serve immediately.

  • Honeycrisp apples hold their crunch well, so they’re perfect for salads.
  • To prevent browning, toss the apple slices in a little lemon juice before adding to the salad.
  • You can swap the dried cranberries for fresh pomegranate seeds for a juicy twist.
