-
½ cup finely diced onion
-
1 tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
1 tbsp ketchup
-
1 tbsp yellow mustard
-
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional but adds great flavor)
-
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or American cheese, chopped)
-
12 egg roll wrappers
-
Vegetable oil (for frying)
Optional toppings for dipping:
-
Special sauce (mix mayo, ketchup, and pickle relish)

BBQ sauce

Ranch or spicy mayo
🔥 Instructions
-
Cook the beef filling:
-
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned.
-
Drain any excess grease.
-
Stir in salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
-
Remove from heat and let cool for 5–10 minutes.
-
Stir in shredded cheese until well combined.
-
-
Assemble the egg rolls:
-
Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner pointing toward you (like a diamond).
-
Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the filling onto the center.
-
Fold the bottom corner up over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly.
-
Seal the edge with a dab of water.
-
-
Fry:
-
Heat about 2 inches of oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C).
-
Fry egg rolls 2–3 at a time until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes per side.
-
Drain on paper towels.
-
-
Serve:
-
Serve hot with dipping sauce. They’re amazing with a “burger sauce” (mayo + ketchup + relish + a dash of mustard).
-
🍟 Air Fryer Option
-
Preheat air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
-
Lightly spray egg rolls with cooking oil.
-
Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
Would you like me to include a “Big Mac”–style version (with pickles, onions, and special sauce inside)?
