Instructions
- Brown the beef
- In a pot, brown the ground beef until no longer pink.
- Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add onion and garlic
- Stir in chopped onion and garlic.
- Cook 2β3 minutes until softened.
- Add vegetables
- Add potatoes, carrots, celery (if using).
- Stir well to coat with the beef juices.
- Add liquids & seasoning
- Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire, paprika, thyme, salt and pepper.
- Simmer
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat.
- Cover and simmer for 30β40 minutes, or until potatoes and carrots are tender.
- Add peas/green beans
- Stir in frozen peas or beans.
- Simmer another 5 minutes.
- Taste & adjust
- Add more salt, pepper, or broth for desired consistency.
