Here’s a simple and delicious Parmesan Baked Pork Chops recipe — crispy, cheesy topping with juicy, tender pork inside.

🐖 Parmesan Baked Pork Chops

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about ¾–1 inch thick)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Italian or plain)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prep the pork chops

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat pork chops dry with paper towels.
  3. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

2. Prepare breading

  1. Set up a breading station:
    • Bowl 1: Flour
    • Bowl 2: Beaten eggs
    • Bowl 3: Mix breadcrumbs + Parmesan + garlic powder + paprika
  2. Dredge each pork chop in flour → egg → breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

3. Bake

  1. Place pork chops on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.
  2. Drizzle or brush lightly with olive oil or melted butter.
  3. Bake 20–25 minutes (depending on thickness), until pork reaches internal temp 145°F (63°C) and breadcrumbs are golden brown.
  4. Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end for extra crispiness.

4. Serve

  • Garnish with chopped parsley.
  • Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.

⭐ Tips & Variations

  • Extra cheesy: Mix shredded mozzarella with the breadcrumbs.
  • Herbed version: Add 1 tsp Italian seasoning or dried thyme to the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Juicy chops: Don’t overbake — check internal temp with a meat thermometer.
  • Low-carb option: Use crushed pork rinds or almond flour instead of breadcrumbs.
