Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars

Posted on December 1, 2025 by Admin

Here’s a classic no-bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars recipe — rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced between sweet chocolate and salty peanut butter. These taste like homemade Reese’s bars!

🍫🥜 Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars

⭐ Ingredients (makes a 9×13 pan)

Peanut Butter Layer

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ cups creamy peanut butter

Chocolate Topping

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prepare the base

  1. In a large bowl, mix melted butter, graham crumbs, powdered sugar, and peanut butter.
  2. Stir until smooth and well combined.
  3. Press mixture firmly and evenly into a 9×13 pan lined with parchment paper.

2. Make the chocolate topping

  1. Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter together (microwave in 30-second intervals or use a double boiler).
  2. Stir until silky and fully combined.
  3. Pour over the peanut butter base and smooth the top.

3. Chill

  • Refrigerate at least 2 hours, or until chocolate is set.

4. Slice & serve

  • Cut into squares or bars.
  • Store in the refrigerator for best texture.

⭐ Tips & Variations

  • Crunchy version: Use crunchy peanut butter or stir in ½ cup chopped peanuts.
  • Salted chocolate: Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top before chilling.
  • Thicker bars: Use an 8×8 pan instead of 9×13.
  • Add-ins: Swirl in Nutella, or add crushed pretzels to the base for salty crunch.
  • Freezer-friendly: Freeze up to 2 months; thaw slightly before serving.

If you’d like, I can also give a baked brownie-style version, a healthy oat version, or a no-graham-cracker version. Which one sounds good?
