Here’s a decadent Banana Pudding Cheesecake recipe — combines creamy cheesecake with the sweet, comforting flavors of banana pudding and a cookie crust.

🍌 Banana Pudding Cheesecake

⭐ Ingredients

Crust

  • 1 ½ cups vanilla wafer crumbs (or crushed graham crackers)
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Cheesecake Filling

  • 24 oz (3 x 8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2–3 medium bananas)

Banana Pudding Layer (Optional but classic)

  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding (3.4 oz)
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 2–3 sliced bananas

Topping

  • Whipped cream
  • Crushed vanilla wafers or cookie crumbs
  • Optional: banana slices for garnish

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prepare the crust

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Mix vanilla wafer crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
  3. Press mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  4. Bake 8–10 minutes, then cool while preparing filling.

2. Make the cheesecake filling

  1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Gradually add sugar, then eggs one at a time.
  3. Mix in vanilla, sour cream, and mashed bananas until creamy and combined.
  4. Pour filling over the cooled crust.

3. Bake

  • Bake 55–65 minutes, until the center is just set (slight jiggle is okay).
  • Cool at room temperature for 1 hour, then refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.

4. Prepare pudding layer (optional)

  • Mix instant pudding with milk according to package instructions.
  • Let it set slightly, then layer over the cooled cheesecake.
  • Add sliced bananas on top of pudding.

5. Add topping

  • Spread or pipe whipped cream over the top.
  • Sprinkle with crushed vanilla wafers or cookie crumbs.
  • Garnish with banana slices if desired.

6. Serve

  • Chill until ready to serve.
  • Slice carefully with a warm knife for clean pieces.

⭐ Tips & Variations

  • Extra creamy: Use full-fat cream cheese and sour cream.
  • Banana flavor boost: Add ½ tsp banana extract.
  • Layered look: Add a thin layer of pudding under the cheesecake before baking for a classic banana pudding swirl.
  • No-bake option: Combine cream cheese, whipped topping, bananas, and pudding in a layered dessert for a fridge-set version.

If you want, I can also provide a simpler, faster version that combines banana pudding and cheesecake into a no-bake parfait style dessert, perfect for weeknights or parties.

Do you want me to do that?
