Here’s a super easy, fluffy, no-fuss recipe for a Baked Egg Omelette with Cheese — perfect for breakfast, brunch, or meal prep!


🍳 Baked Egg Omelette with Cheese

⭐ Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 8 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk or cream
  • 1–1½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional mix-ins:
    • Chopped bell peppers
    • Onions
    • Spinach
    • Tomatoes
    • Mushrooms
    • Cooked bacon/ham/sausage
    • Green onions
    • Herbs (parsley, chives)

🔥 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×9 baking dish or an 8×8, or use a small casserole dish.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk eggs + milk/cream until smooth.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Stir in the cheese and any optional add-ins.
  6. Pour the mixture into the greased dish.
  7. Bake for 25–35 minutes, or until:
    • the center is set
    • the top is slightly golden
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.

🍽️ Serving Ideas

  • Add salsa or hot sauce on top
  • Serve with toast, roasted potatoes, or fresh fruit
  • Fold in cooked veggies or meat to turn it into a full meal
  • Cut into squares for easy meal prep breakfast boxes

  • Want it extra fluffy? Use ¼ cup cream cheese mixed into the eggs.
  • Want it extra cheesy? Sprinkle extra cheese on top halfway through baking.
