Here’s a juicy, flavorful garlic pork chops recipe that’s quick, simple, and PERFECT for weeknight dinners!

⭐ Garlic Pork Chops (Pan-Seared & Juicy)

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional but great)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4–6 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1–2 tbsp lemon juice (or white wine)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning or thyme (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for serving)

⭐ Instructions

1. Season

Pat the pork chops dry.
Rub both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.

2. Sear the chops

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add pork chops and sear 3–4 minutes per side until golden-brown.
  3. Remove to a plate (they’ll finish cooking in the sauce).

3. Make the garlic butter sauce

  1. In the same pan, lower heat to medium.
  2. Add butter and garlic; cook 30–45 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn).
  3. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice.
  4. Add Italian seasoning or thyme if using.
  5. Simmer 2–3 minutes to slightly reduce.

4. Return the chops

  1. Add pork chops back to the pan.
  2. Spoon sauce over the top and cook 3–5 minutes until pork reaches 145°F (63°C) internally.
  3. Let rest 3 minutes.

⭐ Serve With

  • Mashed potatoes
  • Roasted vegetables
  • Rice or buttered noodles
  • A simple green salad

⭐ Tips for Perfect Pork Chops

  • Pat them very dry for the best sear.
  • Bone-in chops stay juicier.
  • Don’t overcook—145°F is safe and tender.
  • Add a splash of cream at the end for a creamy garlic sauce!

If you want, I can give you a creamy garlic pork chop version, an oven-baked version, or a honey-garlic version!
