Posted on November 17, 2025 by Admin

Here’s a quick and easy Lazy Man’s Peach Cobbler recipe—minimal effort, maximum deliciousness!

🍑 Lazy Man’s Peach Cobbler

Serves 6–8

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) sliced peaches in syrup (drain or leave some syrup for extra sweetness)
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (divided: ¾ cup + ¼ cup)
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven

  • Preheat to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or similar size.

2. Prepare the batter

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, ¾ cup sugar, and milk until smooth.
  2. Pour melted butter into the baking dish.

3. Assemble the cobbler

  1. Pour the batter over the melted butter in the dish.
  2. Spoon peaches evenly on top—don’t stir; the batter will rise around the peaches.
  3. Sprinkle remaining ¼ cup sugar and cinnamon over the top.

4. Bake

  • Bake 40–45 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the batter comes out clean.

5. Serve

  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Tips

  • For extra flavor, add 1 tsp vanilla extract or a pinch of nutmeg to the batter.
  • Can be made with fresh peaches if in season—just add a little sugar and cornstarch to thicken their juices.
  • Perfect for a one-bowl dessert—no crust, no fuss!

If you want, I can also give an even quicker 3-ingredient version of this peach cobbler that’s almost foolproof.

Do you want me to do that?
