Steak & shrimp noodles

Here’s a Steak & Shrimp Noodles recipe that’s rich, savory, garlicky, and restaurant-style—like a mix of hibachi and stir-fry. It’s super quick once everything is prepped!


🍜 Steak & Shrimp Noodles

Serves: 3–4
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes


⭐ Ingredients

Protein

  • 8 oz steak (sirloin, ribeye, or flank), thinly sliced
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 1 tbsp oil (for steak)
  • 1 tbsp oil (for shrimp)
  • Salt & pepper

Noodles

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles, rice noodles, or spaghetti

Sauce

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (adds richness)
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1–2 tsp sriracha or chili paste (optional for heat)

Vegetables (optional but recommended)

  • 1 cup broccoli
  • 1 sliced bell pepper
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • Green onions for garnish

🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Noodles

  • Cook noodles according to package instructions.
  • Drain and toss lightly with a splash of sesame oil to keep them from sticking.

2️⃣ Sear the Steak

  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet on high heat.
  • Add steak, season with salt & pepper, and sear 2–3 minutes until browned.
  • Remove from pan.

3️⃣ Cook the Shrimp

  • Add 1 tbsp oil to the pan.
  • Add shrimp, season with salt & pepper.
  • Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink.
  • Remove and set aside.

4️⃣ Cook the Veggies

  • In the same pan, add broccoli, onions, bell peppers, or cabbage.
  • Stir fry 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.

5️⃣ Make the Sauce

Add to pan:

  • Soy sauce
  • Oyster sauce
  • Hoisin or brown sugar
  • Butter
  • Sesame oil
  • Sriracha (optional)

Mix and let the sauce bubble for 1 minute.


6️⃣ Bring It All Together

  • Add cooked noodles → toss to coat.
  • Add steak and shrimp back into the pan.
  • Stir everything for 1–2 minutes until hot and glossy.

🍽️ Serve

Top with:

  • Green onions
  • Sesame seeds
  • Extra soy sauce or chili oil

🔄 Variations

🔥 Spicy Garlic Version

Add:

  • 1 tbsp chili crisp
  • Extra garlic
  • Red pepper flakes

🍋 Lemon Pepper Version

Use:

  • Lemon juice
  • Cracked black pepper
  • Butter
  • A little honey

🥢 Hibachi Style

Add:

  • 1 tbsp teriyaki
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 splash of rice vinegar

🍯 Sweet & Savory

Add:

  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Extra hoisin
