Creamy grape salad

Here’s a simple and delicious creamy grape salad recipe that’s perfect as a dessert or a side dish:


Ingredients (serves 6–8)

  • 4 cups seedless grapes (red, green, or a mix)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 2–3 tbsp brown sugar (for topping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep the grapes:
    • Wash and dry the grapes thoroughly.
    • Cut larger grapes in half if desired; leave small grapes whole.
  2. Make the creamy dressing:
    • In a medium bowl, mix the sour cream, cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Combine:
    • Add the grapes to the creamy mixture and gently stir until all grapes are coated.
  4. Add toppings:
    • Sprinkle chopped nuts over the top.
    • For extra sweetness and crunch, sprinkle brown sugar on top.
  5. Chill and serve:
    • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to let flavors meld.
    • Serve cold as a dessert or a sweet side dish.

This salad is creamy, sweet, and slightly tangy, with a nice crunch from the nuts. It’s a favorite for potlucks and holiday tables!
