Chocolate caramel pretzel bark

Posted on November 11, 2025 by Admin

Ah, Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Bark—sweet, salty, crunchy, and perfect for gifting or snacking. Here’s a simple recipe that’s easy to make at home:

Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Bark

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups pretzels (sticks or mini twists)
  • 1 cup caramel bits or soft caramel squares
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream (if using caramel squares)
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet or milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare pan: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread pretzels in an even layer.
  2. Melt caramel: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt caramel bits with heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth. (If using caramel squares, chop into small pieces first.)
  3. Drizzle caramel: Pour or drizzle the melted caramel evenly over the pretzels.
  4. Melt chocolate: In another microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  5. Drizzle chocolate: Pour or drizzle melted chocolate over the caramel-covered pretzels. Use a spatula or knife to gently swirl for a marbled effect.
  6. Add salt (optional): Sprinkle sea salt over the top for a sweet-and-salty punch.
  7. Set: Refrigerate the bark for 30–60 minutes, or until firm.
  8. Break into pieces: Once set, lift the bark off the parchment and break into pieces.

✅ Tips:

  • For extra texture, sprinkle chopped nuts, toffee bits, or mini chocolate chips on top before the chocolate sets.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge.
  • For a prettier presentation, use a piping bag or zip-top bag with the chocolate to create thin, decorative lines.

If you want, I can also give a white chocolate and dark chocolate layered pretzel bark version that looks gorgeous and tastes even more decadent.

Do you want me to give that version?
