Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts

Posted on November 11, 2025 by Admin

Excellent choice — Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts are crispy, caramelized, and irresistibly flavorful, all in under 15 minutes! 🥦✨
They make a perfect side for almost anything — from steak or chicken to pasta or holiday dinners.

🌿 Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts Recipe

🧺 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1½ tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional flavor boosters:
    • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder or smoked paprika
    • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar or honey (for tossing after cooking)

🔪 Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer
    • Set air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it preheat for a few minutes.
  2. Prep the Brussels sprouts
    • Trim the ends, remove any yellow leaves, and slice large ones in half.
    • In a bowl, toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any desired seasonings.
  3. Air fry
    • Place Brussels sprouts in the basket in a single layer (a little overlap is okay).
    • Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
    • Cook until the edges are golden and crispy.
  4. Finish & serve
    • For extra flavor, toss with a drizzle of balsamic glaze, hot honey, or parmesan cheese right before serving.

🌟 Optional Variations

  • Honey-Balsamic: Toss with 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar + 1 tsp honey after cooking.
  • Garlic-Parmesan: Sprinkle with minced garlic before cooking and 2 tbsp grated Parmesan after.
  • Spicy Version: Toss with a pinch of red pepper flakes or drizzle with sriracha or chili crisp.
  • Maple Bacon: Mix in a few crumbled cooked bacon pieces and a drizzle of maple syrup.

💡 Tips for Perfect Brussels Sprouts

  • Don’t overcrowd the basket — crisping needs airflow.
  • If using frozen Brussels sprouts, air fry 5 minutes first, then toss with oil and seasonings and continue 10–12 more minutes.
  • For extra crunch, bump the temp to 400°F (200°C) for the last 2 minutes.

Would you like me to give you a sweet-and-spicy “restaurant-style” glaze (like honey-sriracha Brussels sprouts)? It’s a huge hit for parties and holidays.
