Cream Cheese Spaghetti

Yum — Cream Cheese Spaghetti is rich, creamy, and super easy to make! 😋
Here’s a simple and delicious recipe:


🍝 Ingredients

For 2–3 servings

  • 200–250 g (about ½ lb) spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ small onion, finely chopped (optional)
  • ½ cup milk or cream (adjust for thickness)
  • 115 g (4 oz) cream cheese (about half a block), softened
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional but tasty)
  • Salt — to taste
  • Black pepper — to taste
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or basil — chopped (for garnish)

🔪 Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti:
    • Boil in salted water according to package directions until al dente.
    • Reserve about ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Make the sauce:
    • In a large pan, melt butter or heat olive oil over medium heat.
    • Add garlic (and onion if using), sauté until fragrant and soft — about 1–2 minutes.
    • Add cream cheese and a splash of milk; stir until the cream cheese melts into a smooth sauce.
    • Add Parmesan (if using), salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Adjust consistency with more milk or reserved pasta water.
  3. Combine:
    • Add cooked spaghetti to the pan and toss well to coat in the sauce.
    • Mix until everything is creamy and evenly coated.
  4. Serve:
    • Top with chopped parsley or basil.
    • Optional: sprinkle extra Parmesan or a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness.
