Here’s a simple and tasty egg sandwich recipe πŸ‘‡

Basic Egg Sandwich

  • 2 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice)
  • 1–2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil (for cooking)
  • Salt β€” to taste
  • Black pepper β€” to taste

Optional Add-ons

  • 1–2 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, or your favorite)
  • Lettuce, tomato slices, cucumber, or avocado
  • Mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, or hot sauce
  • Cooked bacon or ham slices

🍳 Instructions

  1. Toast or fry the bread (optional):
    Toast the bread in a toaster or lightly butter it and brown it on a pan.
  2. Cook the egg:
    • Heat butter/oil in a pan over medium heat.
    • Crack in the egg β€” fry sunny-side up, over-easy, or scramble it (your choice).
    • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Assemble the sandwich:
    • Spread mayo or any sauce on the bread.
    • Place the egg on one slice, then add cheese, veggies, or other fillings if you like.
    • Top with the second slice of bread.
  4. Serve:
    Cut in half and enjoy warm!
