🥘 Slow Cooker Pork Chops

Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix (or 1 cup chopped onions + 1 tsp garlic powder)
  • ½ cup water or chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon paprika or Italian seasoning

Instructions

1. Prepare the Pork Chops

  • Season pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Optional: Sear in a skillet for 2–3 minutes per side for extra flavor (not required).

2. Mix the Sauce

  • In a bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, and water/broth.
  • Stir until smooth.

3. Assemble in Slow Cooker

  • Place pork chops in the slow cooker.
  • Pour the soup mixture over the chops, covering them evenly.

4. Cook

  • Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  • Pork chops should be tender and fully cooked (internal temperature ≥145°F / 63°C).

5. Serve

  • Spoon some of the creamy sauce over the chops when serving.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables.

Tips & Variations

  • Add vegetables: Carrots, mushrooms, or potatoes cook nicely with pork chops in the slow cooker.
  • Make it tangy: Add 1–2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or mustard to the sauce for extra flavor.
  • Thicken the sauce: Remove chops at the end and stir in 1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water, cook 5–10 minutes on high to thicken.
