Here’s a soft, gooey and easy homemade Cinnamon Rolls recipe 🍥✨


🍥 Cinnamon Rolls (Soft & Fluffy)

🧾 Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 2 ½ cups flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • ¾ cup warm milk
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1 egg

For the filling:

  • 3 tbsp butter (soft)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon powder

For the glaze:

  • ½ cup icing sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Make the dough
    • In warm milk, add yeast and sugar. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
    • Add egg, melted butter, salt, and flour.
    • Knead into a soft dough.
  2. Let it rise
    • Cover and let it rest in a warm place for 1–1.5 hours until doubled.
  3. Roll & fill
    • Roll the dough into a rectangle.
    • Spread butter, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly.
  4. Shape rolls
    • Roll tightly into a log and cut into slices.
  5. Second rise
    • Place in a greased baking tray and let them rest for 20–30 minutes.
  6. Bake
    • Bake at 180°C for 18–22 minutes until golden.
  7. Glaze
    • Mix icing sugar, milk, and vanilla.
    • Drizzle over warm rolls.

🌟 Tips

  • Don’t overheat milk or it will kill the yeast
  • For extra gooey rolls, pour a little milk over them before baking
  • Add cream cheese to the glaze for a richer topping
