Here’s a warm, delicious recipe for Cinnamon Sugar Croissants with Apples—perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a sweet treat:


Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz / 225 g) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 medium apple (such as Honeycrisp or Fuji), peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Optional: powdered sugar or caramel drizzle for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix cinnamon sugar: In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Prepare dough: Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Add apple filling: Place a few apple slices on the wide end of each triangle. Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon sugar.
  5. Roll croissants: Starting from the wide end, roll the dough over the apples toward the pointed end.
  6. Brush and sprinkle: Place croissants on the baking sheet, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle more cinnamon sugar on top.
  7. Bake: 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Serve: Let cool slightly, then optionally dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with caramel.

Tip: For extra flavor, you can toss the apple slices in a bit of lemon juice and brown sugar before rolling to enhance sweetness and prevent browning.
