Here’s a cozy, sweet recipe for Cinnamon Sugar Croissants with Apples—perfect for breakfast or dessert:


Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz / 225 g) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 medium apple (any sweet-tart variety like Honeycrisp or Fuji), peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare cinnamon sugar: In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Unroll dough: Lay crescent roll dough on a flat surface and separate into triangles.
  4. Add apples: Place a few apple slices at the wide end of each triangle. Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon sugar.
  5. Roll croissants: Starting from the wide end, roll up the dough toward the point, enclosing the apples.
  6. Brush with butter: Place croissants on the baking sheet and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle a little more cinnamon sugar on top if desired.
  7. Bake: 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Cool & serve: Let croissants cool slightly. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Tip: You can add a small drizzle of caramel or honey over the croissants for extra indulgence.
