Beef and noodles

Beef and noodles is a hearty, comforting dish that’s easy to make and super satisfying. Here’s a simple, flavorful version you can try:


🥩🍜 Ingredients

  • 250–300g beef (thinly sliced or small strips)
  • 200g noodles (egg noodles or spaghetti work too)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3–4 garlic cloves (chopped)
  • 1 small onion (sliced)
  • 1–2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional but tasty)
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, capsicum, cabbage, etc.)
  • ½ cup water or broth

🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles
    Boil noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the beef
    Heat oil in a pan or wok on medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté aromatics
    In the same pan, add garlic and onions. Cook until fragrant and slightly soft.
  4. Add vegetables
    Toss in your veggies and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes (keep them slightly crunchy).
  5. Combine everything
    Add the cooked beef back in, then noodles. Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and a splash of water/broth.
  6. Toss well
    Mix everything together and cook for another 2–3 minutes so flavors combine.
  7. Serve hot
    Taste and adjust salt or sauce as needed.

  • For extra flavor, marinate the beef in soy sauce + garlic for 15 minutes before cooking
  • Add chili sauce or green chilies if you like it spicy
  • A squeeze of lemon at the end can brighten the dish
