Tortilla wraps with ground beef

Posted on March 20, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple and tasty way to make tortilla wraps with ground beef—perfect for lunch or a quick dinner:

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 8 small or medium flour tortillas
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • Lettuce, tomato, or other toppings
  • Optional: salsa, sour cream, or guacamole

Instructions

  1. Cook the beef:
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped onion until soft.
    • Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
    • Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Season the beef:
    • Add chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook 2–3 more minutes to blend flavors.
  3. Warm the tortillas:
    • Heat tortillas in a dry skillet for 30 seconds per side or wrap in foil and warm in the oven.
  4. Assemble wraps:
    • Spoon seasoned ground beef onto the center of each tortilla.
    • Top with shredded cheese, lettuce, tomato, or other toppings.
    • Fold sides over and roll tightly.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve immediately with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole on the side.

💡 Tips:

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of lime juice or chopped fresh cilantro to the beef before assembling.
  • You can make these ahead and wrap in foil—reheat in the oven for 10 minutes before serving.
  • Swap flour tortillas for whole wheat or corn tortillas for a healthier twist.

If you want, I can give you a baked version with melted cheese on top that turns the wraps into a crispy, gooey meal—like an oven-baked burrito.

Do you want me to provide that version?
