Posted on March 19, 2026 by Admin

Coconut macaroons 🥥🍪 are chewy, sweet cookies made mainly from coconut—crispy on the outside and soft inside. They’re simple, gluten-free (usually), and perfect for quick baking.

🌟 What are Coconut Macaroons?

Coconut macaroon are small mounds of shredded coconut mixed with sugar and egg whites, then baked until golden.

đź›’ Ingredients (Makes ~15)

  • 2½ cups shredded coconut
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: melted chocolate for dipping

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    175°C (350°F) and line a baking tray.
  2. Mix ingredients
In a bowl, combine coconut, sugar, egg whites, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Shape
Scoop small mounds using a spoon or cookie scoop.
  4. Bake
15–20 minutes until edges turn golden brown.
  5. Cool
Let them cool completely—they firm up as they cool.
  6. Optional chocolate dip
Dip bottoms in melted chocolate and let set.

🔥 Tips

  • Use sweetened coconut for softer macaroons
  • Don’t overbake—they should stay slightly soft inside
  • Wet your hands to shape them neatly

🍽️ Variations
