Here’s a simple and delicious chicken salad recipe you can make in about 15 minutes:


🥗 Classic Chicken Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced (rotisserie works great)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
  • 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • (Optional) ¼ cup sliced almonds, grapes, or dried cranberries

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, celery, and onion.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the chicken mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  5. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Serving ideas:

  • Spoon it onto toasted bread for a sandwich.
  • Serve it on top of lettuce leaves or inside a wrap.
  • Pair it with crackers or cucumber slices for a light snack.
