🥪 Air Fryer Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 1–2 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, mozzarella, or your favorite)
- 1–2 teaspoons butter or mayonnaise
Optional add-ins:
- Tomato slices
- Cooked bacon or ham
- Garlic powder
How to Make It
1. Preheat
Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (188°C) for about 3 minutes.
2. Prepare the bread
Spread butter or mayonnaise on the outside of each bread slice.
3. Assemble the sandwich
Place cheese between the slices with the buttered sides facing outward.
4. Cook
Put the sandwich in the air fryer basket and cook for 5–7 minutes, flipping halfway through.
5. Serve
Cook until the bread is golden and crispy and the cheese is melted.
Tips
- Use thicker bread so the sandwich stays sturdy.
- If the top slice moves in the air fryer, secure it with a toothpick.
- For extra meltiness, use two different cheeses.
