Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

Posted on March 16, 2026 by Admin

🍫🥜 Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls are a sweet, bite-sized treat made from peanut butter, chocolate, and often crushed cookies or powdered sugar. They’re easy to make, indulgent, and perfect for snacks, parties, or holidays.

Key Ingredients

  • Peanut butter – creamy or chunky, depending on preference
  • Powdered sugar – adds sweetness and helps firm the mixture
  • Butter – optional, adds richness
  • Chocolate – for coating (milk, dark, or white chocolate)
  • Optional: crushed graham crackers, rice cereal, or sprinkles

How to Make Them

  1. Mix the filling
    • Combine peanut butter, powdered sugar, and butter (if using) until smooth and firm enough to shape.
    • Optional: fold in crushed cookies or cereal for texture.
  2. Shape into balls
    • Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on parchment paper.
  3. Chill
    • Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes to firm up.
  4. Coat in chocolate
    • Melt chocolate in a double boiler or microwave.
    • Dip each ball in chocolate, then place back on parchment paper.
  5. Set
    • Refrigerate until the chocolate hardens, about 30 minutes.

Serving Ideas

  • Store in the fridge in an airtight container
  • Serve at parties, as a snack, or as a holiday treat
  • Optionally, drizzle with white chocolate or sprinkle with crushed peanuts for decoration

Tips

  • Use good-quality chocolate for the best flavor
  • Chill the balls before dipping to prevent them from melting
  • Can be made ahead of time and stored for up to 2 weeks in the fridge

I can also give a super-easy 5-ingredient version of chocolate peanut butter balls that’s ready in under 30 minutes if you want.
