🍗 Chicken with Italian Dressing

This is a simple, flavorful chicken recipe where Italian dressing acts as both a marinade and sauce, giving the chicken a tangy, herby taste. It’s quick and perfect for weeknight meals.


🧾 Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken Breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • 1 cup Italian Dressing
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • Optional: ½ cup Parmesan Cheese for topping

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Marinate the chicken

  • Place chicken breasts in a bowl or zip bag.
  • Pour Italian dressing over them and add garlic.
  • Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 4 hours.

2. Cook the chicken

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Remove chicken from marinade and cook 5–7 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked (internal temp 75°C / 165°F).

3. Optional topping

  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the chicken in the last minute of cooking and let it melt.

4. Serve

  • Serve with Rice, roasted Vegetables, or Pasta.

✅ Tips

  • You can bake it instead: place chicken and dressing in a baking dish and bake at 190°C (375°F) for 25–30 minutes.
  • Adding sliced Bell Peppers or Onions makes it a full one-pan meal.
