Croissant sandwich

Posted on November 5, 2025 by Admin
Here’s a simple yet delicious croissant sandwich recipe you can make at home. I’ll give you a savory breakfast-style version and also suggest variations.

Ingredients (for 2 sandwiches)

  • 2 large croissants (store-bought or homemade)

  • 4 eggs

  • 4 slices of bacon or ham

  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your choice)

  • 1 small avocado (optional)

  • Butter or oil for cooking

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: lettuce, tomato, or mustard/mayo

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon or ham:

    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy.

    • Remove and place on paper towels to drain.

  2. Scramble the eggs:

    • Crack the eggs into a bowl, add salt and pepper, and whisk.

    • Heat a little butter in the skillet, pour in the eggs, and scramble until just set.

  3. Prepare the croissants:

    • Slice the croissants in half horizontally.

    • Toast them lightly if you like them warm and crispy.

  4. Assemble the sandwich:

    • Layer cheese on the bottom half of the croissant.

    • Add scrambled eggs, then bacon or ham.

    • Add avocado slices or other toppings if desired.

    • Close with the top half of the croissant.

  5. Serve:

    • Enjoy immediately while warm and flaky!

Tips & Variations

  • Chicken or turkey instead of bacon/ham.

  • Spinach, arugula, or tomato for freshness.

  • Sweet version: Spread Nutella or jam, add banana slices or strawberries.

If you want, I can also give you a restaurant-style gourmet croissant sandwich recipe that’s a bit fancier, with caramelized onions, special sauces, and perfectly melted cheese. It’s next-level delicious.

Do you want me to do that?
