Crescent Roll Apple Dumplings 🍎🥐

Crescent roll apple dumplings are an easy, comforting dessert where apple slices are wrapped in crescent roll dough and baked in a buttery cinnamon sauce. They’re soft, sweet, and perfect served warm.


Ingredients

  • 2 apples (peeled and sliced into wedges)
  • 1 can Crescent Rolls dough
  • ½ cup butter
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda (such as Sprite or 7UP)
  • Optional: vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • Heat oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. Prepare Apples
    • Peel apples and cut them into 8 wedges.
  3. Wrap the Apples
    • Separate crescent dough triangles.
    • Place an apple wedge on each triangle and roll it up, starting from the wide end.
  4. Arrange in Baking Dish
    • Place wrapped apples in a greased baking dish.
  5. Make the Sauce
    • Melt butter in a saucepan.
    • Stir in sugar and cinnamon until smooth.
    • Pour mixture over dumplings.
  6. Add Soda
    • Gently pour soda around the dumplings (not directly on top).
  7. Bake
    • Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Serving Tips

  • Serve warm with Vanilla Ice Cream or whipped cream.
  • Sprinkle a little extra cinnamon sugar on top for extra flavor.
