Ingredients

  1. 1 cup self-raising flour (or all-purpose flour + 1 tsp baking powder)
  2. 1/2 cup butter (unsalted, cold)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
  2. Cut the cold butter into small cubes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, rub the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
