Cream Puff Cake is a delicious dessert that tastes like a giant cream puff—light pastry, creamy filling, and a sweet topping. It’s easier to make than traditional cream puffs but has the same rich flavor. 🍰


🥧 Cream Puff Cake Recipe

Ingredients

For the crust:

  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs

For the filling:

  • 2 small boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

For the topping:

  • 1 container whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • Chocolate syrup or melted chocolate for drizzle

1️⃣ Prepare the crust

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil.
  3. Add flour and stir quickly until a dough forms.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
  5. Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.

2️⃣ Bake

  • Spread the dough into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until puffed and golden.
  • Cool completely.

3️⃣ Make the filling

  1. Beat cream cheese until smooth.
  2. In another bowl mix pudding mix and milk until thick.
  3. Combine pudding with cream cheese and mix well.

4️⃣ Assemble the cake

  • Spread filling over the cooled crust.
  • Top with whipped topping.
  • Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top.

5️⃣ Chill

  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

🍫 Optional Variations

  • Add caramel sauce instead of chocolate.
  • Sprinkle crushed cookies or nuts on top.
  • Use chocolate pudding for a richer flavor.
