Ingredients (Serves 1)

  • 1 cup warm water (not boiling)
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (or 1 tsp fresh grated turmeric)
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • Pinch of black pepper (optional, helps turmeric absorption)

Method

  1. Warm the Water:
    • Heat water until warm but not boiling.
  2. Mix Ingredients:
    • Stir in turmeric powder and black pepper.
    • Add lemon juice and honey if using.
  3. Stir Well:
    • Make sure turmeric is fully dissolved.
  4. Drink:
