Here’s a flavorful recipe for Old Bay Chicken Wings—crispy, spicy, and perfect as an appetizer or game-day snack:


Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 2 lbs (900 g) chicken wings, split into flats and drumettes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2–3 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional, for color)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

1. Preheat oven

  • Set oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top (optional for crispier wings).

2. Prepare wings

  • Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  • Toss wings in olive oil, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

3. Bake the wings

  • Arrange wings in a single layer on the wire rack or directly on the foil-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway, until wings are golden brown and crispy.

4. Serve

  • Serve hot with lemon wedges, ranch or blue cheese dressing, or your favorite dipping sauce.

Tips for Extra Crispy Wings

  • Pat wings completely dry before seasoning.
  • Optional: Broil the wings for 2–3 minutes at the end to get extra crispiness.
  • For added flavor, toss wings in melted butter with extra Old Bay after baking.
