Buffalo wing is a popular American appetizer made from chicken wings that are deep-fried and coated in a spicy, buttery hot sauce. They are famous for their bold flavor and are often served with celery sticks and dipping sauces.

🍗 Simple Buffalo Wings Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt and black pepper
  • ½ cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
  • 3 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Season the wings
    • Pat wings dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook the wings
    • Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 40–45 minutes, turning halfway, until crispy.
      (You can also deep fry for 8–10 minutes.)
  3. Make the sauce
    • Melt butter in a pan and mix with hot sauce.
  4. Toss the wings
    • Coat the hot wings in the sauce until fully covered.
  5. Serve
    • Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing or ranch dressing.
