Pork Chop Supreme:

Posted on March 5, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a delicious and easy recipe for Pork Chop Supreme—a creamy, comforting dish that pairs well with rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta. 🥩🍄

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 8 oz (225 g) mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz / 300 g) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup milk or cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp paprika, or fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep the pork chops
    • Season both sides with salt, pepper, and optional paprika or garlic powder.
  2. Brown the pork chops
    • Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Sear the chops 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
    • Remove chops from skillet and set aside.
  3. Cook the onions and mushrooms
    • In the same skillet, sauté onions and mushrooms until soft and lightly browned.
  4. Make the creamy sauce
    • Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and milk.
    • Simmer 2–3 minutes until the sauce is smooth and heated through.
  5. Combine and simmer
    • Return the pork chops to the skillet.
    • Spoon sauce over the chops.
    • Cover and simmer on low for 10–15 minutes, until pork chops are fully cooked (internal temp 145°F / 63°C).
  6. Serve
    • Spoon extra sauce over chops.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Tips for Success

  • Bone-in chops stay juicier than boneless.
  • For a thicker sauce, mix 1 tsp cornstarch with 2 tsp water and stir in during the last 2 minutes.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles to soak up all the creamy sauce.

If you want, I can also give a “slow cooker Pork Chop Supreme” version where you literally dump everything in the pot and get tender chops with creamy sauce—perfect for busy nights.

Do you want me to share that slow cooker version?
