Sausage & cream cheese crescent rolls

Sausage & Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls are a quick, savory appetizer or breakfast snack that’s creamy, flaky, and very easy to make. 🥐


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • Optional: 1/2 tsp garlic powder or onion powder for extra flavor

Instructions

  1. Cook the sausage
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until fully browned.
    • Drain excess grease.
  2. Mix with cream cheese
    • Add the softened cream cheese to the warm sausage.
    • Stir until smooth and well combined.
  3. Prepare crescent rolls
    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Fill the rolls
    • Place about 1 tablespoon of the sausage mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up
    • Roll from the wide end toward the point to form a crescent shape.
  6. Bake
    • Place on a baking sheet and bake 12–15 minutes until golden brown.

Tips

  • Add shredded cheddar cheese for extra flavor.
  • Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top before baking.
  • These are great for parties, brunch, or holiday breakfasts.
