🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) smoked sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: paprika, fresh parsley, or bell peppers for extra flavor

1️⃣ Cook the Sausage

  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add sliced sausage and cook until lightly browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.

2️⃣ Cook the Potatoes

  • Add remaining oil to the skillet.
  • Sauté diced potatoes, stirring occasionally, for 10–15 minutes until golden and almost tender.
  • Add onions (and optional bell peppers) halfway through cooking.

3️⃣ Combine & Season

  • Stir in garlic and cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Return sausage to the skillet and mix well.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and paprika or herbs.

4️⃣ Finish & Serve

  • Cook another 3–5 minutes until everything is heated through and potatoes are tender.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
