Here’s a simple, cozy slow cooker chicken and corn recipe that’s creamy, comforting, and almost hands-off:


🍗 Slow Cooker Chicken & Corn

🛒 Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups frozen or fresh corn kernels
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk or cream
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: shredded cheese, chopped parsley for garnish

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep Slow Cooker

  • Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

2️⃣ Add Corn & Creamy Sauce

  • Pour corn over the chicken.
  • Mix cream of chicken soup with milk and pour on top.
  • Stir gently to combine.

3️⃣ Cook

  • Low: 6–7 hours
  • High: 3–4 hours
  • Chicken should be tender and fully cooked (165°F / 74°C).

4️⃣ Shred & Mix

  • Remove chicken, shred with forks, and return to the slow cooker.
  • Stir to combine with the creamy corn mixture.

5️⃣ Serve

  • Over rice, mashed potatoes, pasta, or with crusty bread.
  • Optional: Sprinkle shredded cheese or fresh parsley on top.

🌟 Tips

  • Add vegetables: Carrots, bell peppers, or peas can be added for more color and nutrition.
  • Make it spicy: Add 1/2 tsp cayenne or a dash of hot sauce.
  • Make ahead: Assemble in the morning and cook while you go about your day.
