Buttery Chocolate Chip Cookies 🍪

🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

🥣 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven:

  • 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Cream butter and sugars:

  • In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

3️⃣ Add eggs and vanilla:

  • Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.

4️⃣ Combine dry ingredients:

  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add to wet ingredients until combined.

5️⃣ Fold in chocolate chips:

  • Use a spatula to evenly distribute chocolate chips.

6️⃣ Scoop onto baking sheet:

  • Use a tablespoon or cookie scoop to drop dough 2 inches apart.

7️⃣ Bake:

  • 9–11 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden but centers are soft.

8️⃣ Cool and enjoy:

  • Let cookies cool on the baking sheet 2–3 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
