Chocolate Crockpot Candy

Posted on March 1, 2026March 1, 2026 by Admin

Crockpot Candy is one of the easiest holiday treats you can make—perfect for gifting, parties, or meal prep sweets. Since you like simple, practical recipes, this one is truly “dump and go.”

Classic Crockpot Candy (Chocolate Peanut Clusters)

🛒 Ingredients

  • 16 oz dry roasted peanuts (salted or unsalted)
  • 16 oz unsalted peanuts (optional for mix of textures)
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 12 oz milk chocolate chips
  • 24 oz white almond bark (or vanilla candy coating)

(You can adjust the chocolate ratio to taste.)

🥣 Instructions

  1. Layer in crockpot (no stirring yet):
    • Peanuts on the bottom
    • Chocolate chips
    • Almond bark on top
  2. Cook on LOW for 1½–2 hours.
Do not remove lid for the first hour.
  3. Stir everything until smooth.
  4. Drop spoonfuls onto parchment paper or wax paper.
  5. Let cool completely (about 1 hour at room temp or 20–30 minutes in fridge).

⏱ Storage

  • Store in airtight container up to 2 weeks.
  • Freeze up to 3 months.

Easy Variations

  • White Chocolate Version: Use all white almond bark + cashews.
  • Rocky Road: Add mini marshmallows after melting (let mixture cool slightly first).
  • Holiday Version: Stir in red/green M&Ms before scooping.
  • Spicy Kick: Add ½ tsp cayenne for sweet-heat contrast.

If you’d like, I can also give you:

  • A small-batch version
  • A keto/low-sugar version
  • A giftable “cookie exchange” presentation version
  • Or a Texas-style version with pecans

Just tell me what you’re making it for 🙂
