🍠 Classic Baked Sweet Potato

Ingredients

  • 1–4 medium sweet potatoes
  • Olive oil (optional)
  • Salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • Set oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash & dry
    • Scrub sweet potatoes clean and pat completely dry.
  3. Pierce
    • Use a fork to poke holes 5–6 times around each potato (prevents bursting).
  4. Optional: Oil & salt
    • Rub lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with salt for crispier skin.
  5. Bake
    • Place directly on oven rack or on a lined baking sheet.
    • Bake 45–60 minutes, depending on size.
