  4. Add liquids & seasonings
    Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the roast. Sprinkle thyme, rosemary, and add bay leaves.
  5. Cook low and slow
    Cover and cook on low for 8–9 hours or high for 4–5 hours, until the meat is tender and falls apart easily.
  6. Optional gravy
    Remove the roast and vegetables. Mix 1–2 tablespoons cornstarch with a bit of water and stir into the juices. Cook on high for 5–10 minutes until thickened.

    Slice or shred the roast and serve with the vegetables and gravy.
