🍽️ Pork Chop Supreme

A classic comfort-food casserole made with tender pork chops baked in a creamy, savory sauce — often layered over rice or potatoes.


🛒 Ingredients

  • 4–6 boneless or bone-in pork chops
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for browning)
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk or water
  • ½ cup sour cream (optional, for extra richness)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar (optional)
  • 2 cups cooked rice (or thinly sliced potatoes)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  3. Brown chops in a skillet with olive oil (2–3 minutes per side).
  4. In a bowl, mix soup, milk, and sour cream.
  5. Spread rice (or potatoes) in a greased baking dish.
  6. Layer browned pork chops on top.
  7. Pour soup mixture over everything.
  8. Sprinkle cheese on top (if using).
  9. Cover with foil and bake:
    • 45–60 minutes (until pork reaches 145°F internal temp).
  10. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

🍄 Variations

  • Add sliced mushrooms or bell peppers
  • Use cream of chicken or celery soup
  • Mix French fried onions on top for crunch
  • Add a splash of white wine for depth

🥔 Slow Cooker Version

  • Skip browning (optional but recommended).
  • Layer everything in slow cooker.
  • Cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.

🍽️ Serve With

  • Green beans
  • Steamed broccoli
  • Side salad
  • Dinner rolls
