Mini burgers with cheese and beef patties

Mini Cheeseburgers

Ingredients (for ~8 mini burgers)

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • Salt & pepper
  • 8 mini burger buns (slider buns)
  • 4–8 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, or your favorite; you can fold or cut to fit the buns)
  • Optional toppings: pickles, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, onion

Instructions

  1. Prep the patties
    • Divide beef into 8 equal portions.
    • Shape each into a small, flat patty, slightly larger than the bun (they shrink when cooking).
    • Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook the patties
    • Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
    • Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side for medium, longer if you like them well done.
  3. Add cheese
    • Place cheese on patties during the last minute of cooking. Cover with a lid so it melts nicely.
  4. Toast the buns (optional but tasty)
    • Spread a little butter on the insides and toast on the skillet until golden.
  5. Assemble the sliders
    • Bottom bun → patty with cheese → optional toppings → top bun.

  • If you want extra flavor, mix a teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce or garlic powder into the beef before forming patties.
  • Mini burgers cook quickly, so keep an eye on them.
