Instructions
1. Prepare the ingredients
-
Cook chicken and bacon ahead of time, chop as needed.
-
Hard-boil the eggs, peel, and chop.
-
Dice avocado, halve tomatoes, slice green onions, crumble cheese.
2. Make the dressing
-
Whisk vinegar and mustard together.
-
Slowly whisk in olive oil until emulsified.
-
Season with salt and pepper.
(Or mix creamy version ingredients until smooth.)
3. Assemble the salad
-
Lay the chopped lettuce on a large platter or in a bowl.
-
Arrange the chicken, bacon, eggs, avocado, tomatoes, cucumber, and cheese in rows or sections on top of the lettuce.
-
Drizzle dressing over the salad (or serve on the side).
4. Serve
-
Toss lightly if desired, or let everyone pick their ingredients individually.
🌟 Tips
-
Use leftover roasted chicken for quick prep.
-
For a lighter version, swap blue cheese for feta or goat cheese.
-
Add corn, bell peppers, or radishes for extra crunch and color.
-
Cobb salad is great for meal prep: store components separately and assemble when ready to eat.
I can also give a grilled chicken Cobb with bacon vinaigrette version — slightly smoky and restaurant-style — if you want a fancier twist.
Do you want me to provide that version?
