Oh yes 😎🌮🍕 Taco Pizza—all the flavors of tacos, but on a crispy pizza crust. Here’s a simple, crowd-pleasing version you can make at home.

Taco Pizza

Ingredients

Pizza Base

  • 1 store-bought pizza dough (or homemade, ~12–14 inch)
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil

Taco Meat

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef or chicken
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tbsp homemade: chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper)

Toppings

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • ½ cup corn (optional)
  • ½ cup shredded lettuce (added after baking)
  • ¼ cup sliced jalapeños (optional)

Finishing Touches

  • Sour cream
  • Salsa or taco sauce
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
    • 450°F (230°C). If using a pizza stone, preheat stone in oven.
  2. Cook Taco Meat
    • Brown meat in a skillet. Drain excess fat.
    • Stir in taco seasoning (with water if using packet instructions) and simmer 2–3 minutes. Set aside.
  3. Prepare Pizza Crust
    • Roll out dough on a floured surface to desired thickness.
    • Brush lightly with olive oil.
  4. Assemble Pizza
    • Sprinkle shredded cheese over crust.
    • Add cooked taco meat evenly.
    • Top with tomatoes, onions, olives, and corn.
  5. Bake
    • Bake 12–15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is melted.
  6. Add Fresh Toppings
    • Remove from oven. Top with shredded lettuce, jalapeños, sour cream, salsa, and fresh cilantro.

Tips & Variations

  • Crunchy base: Pre-bake crust 5 minutes for extra crispiness.
  • Cheese lovers: Use a mix of cheddar, Monterey Jack, or mozzarella.
  • Spicy kick: Add hot sauce to meat or sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Vegetarian: Swap meat for black beans or refried beans.

This pizza is fun, colorful, and perfect for game night or family dinner 🌮🍕

I can also give a sheet pan version with tortilla crust for even easier cleanup if you want.
