Big Mac French Toast is a sweet-savory mashup: burger flavors, but made like stuffed French toast. It’s indulgent, ridiculous, and kinda amazing.
Big Mac French Toast
Ingredients
Filling
- 1 lb ground beef
- Salt & pepper
- ½ cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
- Dill pickle slices, chopped
- Optional: finely diced onion
French Toast
- 8 slices thick bread (Texas toast or brioche works best)
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Butter, for cooking
“Special Sauce”
- ½ cup mayo
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp pickle relish
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Cook the Beef
- Brown ground beef in a skillet with salt, pepper, and onion if using.
- Drain excess grease and let cool slightly.
- Make the Sauce
- Mix mayo, ketchup, mustard, relish, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Chill until ready to serve.
- Assemble the Sandwiches
- Lay out bread slices.
- Add cooked beef, cheese, chopped pickles, and a drizzle of special sauce.
- Top with another slice of bread and gently press down.
- French Toast Dip
- Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Cook
- Dip each sandwich into egg mixture (don’t soak too long).
- Cook in buttered skillet over medium heat 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melted.
- Serve
- Slice in half.
- Drizzle or dip with extra special sauce.
